Why does every game seems to be an rpg?
The answer is because they are
Why is thats so?
It is because the terme was not made for console in 2025 were 99.9% of games corresponds to the definiton.
It was made for board games where at that time 100% of games weren't.
It was meant to seperate the genre from them. And it is why it makes perfect sense.
Why every thing tend toward role playing?
Because board rpg are able to be more complex, and simulate more fully reality cause the system alowed them to. Witch is what all rpg video games are working toward.
RPG means playing a role and a setting and it is just that. 99% of video games at least are rpgs.
Some say an rpg "game." This sounds odd.

when i try to explain a RPG vs other games it is for me simple.
With a rpg, its the character that decides how strong you are, with other games its all about your gaming skills. That is the reason why many recreative gamers love RPG, because you can go far into the game without being a hardcore gamer. Also senior gamers love RPG because of this.
