West Marches Style campaigns are not just for fantasy role-playing games! In fact, the Marvel Multiverse RPG is the perfect system to run these types of campaigns.

My goal for the MMRPG game I'm running is to turn off into a West Marches down the road once we (hopefully) get more players interested. Figured each continent in this alt-earth would have a narrator.
Then have an endgame of Age of Ultron/Horizon Zero Dawn. From there, build out a Days of Future Past/Terminator to reset the world.
When you think about it, the comics is just a westcmarches campaign.
I have only run my Marvel campaigns as west marches with multiple games and DMs, even, with different casts and home bases that may or may not ladder up to a central season plot that concludes with a massive “raid” boss where all campaign heroes from the different teams can do a classic Marvel crossover battle!
