God i love VTM
And what exactly does talking things out do? Isn't it better to fix the problem rather than spend hundreds if not thousands talking to a stranger who doesn't really care?
I feel like if I had to pin a clan it would be Malkavian / Gangrel for Jake, and Toreador / Tremere for Terry
I'm like this and I just brush things off because going home tonolay video games is the only real meaningful thing jna world full of people who pretend to care.
In a game of Vampire as a Tzimische I turned someone into flesh furniture after promising they would be returned unharmed so I would have access to the Prince of the City. They were not my best work, legs gave out eventually,
"That was crazy i forgot about that." that is me everytime lol
Data is already proving that therapy does more damage than good in most situations. Dwelling on and constantly reliving trauma doesn't actually allow you to move on and heal. It just keeps reinforcing the same wounds.
Very funny started a nosferatu run last night
I cannot watch this show. Ever. I assume it would affect me like Dorian Grey seeing his portrat for the first and last time.
I'd prefer to go through hell and feel it all then go to therapy
"Therapy's for pussies, I can handle myself."
"You literally got captured by Black Spiral Dancers for three months. Every night you still wake up screaming."
"… Semantics—"
"GO TO THERAPY—!"
"I didn't want to be anyone's bitch" is such a crazy line from Jake and it never fails to make me laugh
That does sound like an average VtM game, or really any of the World of Darkness games in general. They are all set up for political shenanigans and such too but usually end up revolving around combat and mental trauma.
I can relate
Most therapists are enablers. They know patients won't pay for more sessions if he or she doesn't like them.
I have this power
