It is nice to have 4.2 info before 4.0 banners are over, but it is unfortunate that so much is still in the air with who will end up as necessary. If Evanescia stays the same, it’ll be 100% fine to skip Yao Guang and wait for a rerun, but we dont know IF she’ll stay the same until way after Yao Guang’s banner is over. So pulling now is taking a chance, but I would assume either way that she’ll be fine performance wise within her shill environment until Yao Guang’s rerun, so skipping SHOULD be fine unless something really extreme happens.
SW999 is more weird, replacing either Sparxie or Yao Guang seems really rough, but again, still clearable with until eventual reruns. But having NEITHER Yao Guang or Sparxie might be too much to ask for. She seems to have much more focus on mono elation compared to Evanescia, so I would say pulling for her might be a bit dicey if you arent committed in getting her elation teammates on a rerun at least.
Evanescia also looks super fun to play regardless of comp so there’s also that.
Good thing V3 brought Silver Wolf ult requirement down to 60, and with her retaining 20 stacks (trace or E1 can't remember which) she is not only much better as a whole, but can also enjoy off meta comps without Sparxie

Welp I got neither YG or Sparxie so ill just pray and save my Jades for whoever has animations I like more or is less needy in terms of team building
I spent my pulls on E0S1 Yao Guang and lost the 50/50 for Sparxie. Am I screwed if I wanted to build a team for SW999?
