What is this, a Crossover Episode?
Can't even get this shit to work. I started my playthrough on WZ 6 with the goal on importing to this one and i loved wz 6, wz 7, not so much, but when i try to open this one, the game loads a bit on the steam's library and then it closes, i don't even get to the game's menu..

usually when im this confused im as aroused.
I played and beat Wizardry 1 back in the 80's, when our cheats came from magazines, our characters came from friends swapping floppy disks, and the game was still absolutely wild. But THIS sequel is some next level… I don't even know. I've owned the thing for years, sitting in my Steam pile of shame, and I swear, I'll get around to it… eventually. But since they've remade game #1 in both "original" and anime versions, I have to try those first. I already know I'll be mighty annoyed at the "bugs" they claim they "fixed." Noooo, how do you think we beat the game, we exploited those bugs!!!
And yet, that original madness helped us to both appreciate and create new madness decades later. Aw, auto mapping, how cute. WE had pencil and graph paper and– AHH, mom "cleaned" my room, and now my notes are gone!!!
Just gotta say, I have watched this video many times, and finally decided to try it. It is easily now one of my favorite RPGs. Thank you for putting it on my radar.

Keep rewatching this because i find it comforting for some reason, though, I feel that way about all your videos.
the reason pickpocket is "broken" like this is that in earlier version (i think till ver 1.6 or someth like that), it was completely broken the other way around – you could use save scumming to master it very quickly then in pretty much very beginning of the game pickpocket any npc of almost every end game item (the only one i can remember i was not able to pickpocket was cane of corpus from don barlone)
In 2025, it's pretty wild that Sseth made Knudsen female given that he trannied out.
