Im very certain hybrid is just the psychotic ramblings of a schizophrenic marvel fan. Them commenting on the piece being an incoherrent mess of errors is probably them managing to return to sanity for one moment
He does specify a log10 calculator so I'd assume that's the one used for the fundamental equation
