  1. Hi all, I just wanted to say thanks for over 250,000 views! This was my first real Short and I had a lot of fun with it.

I hope you all have a happy and safe year in 2024, take care!

  2. I’m just about to start dnd bought a essential kit was thinking of starter but I’m going to start a campaign and me and the players don’t want pre generated characters and also thing that a dm screen would be good since we used the rest of the campaign money on the extra fast shipping did I make the right choice

  3. I honestly got both. My friends and I had enough to play through the two campaigns in about four months without any core books. Unfortunately, there weren’t enough dice or pencils for everyone.
They really SHOULD come up with a kit for “one-shot” gaming sessions. It should have about twenty random scenarios, a few maps, two complete sets of dice, pencils and blank character sheets. and a rule book for sandbox gaming. Call it the “Quest Set”. I’d pay about $30 for that.

  4. My personal recommendation is to start with a starter set at the beginning! It helps you to really pass through the fear and the overthinking phase of how hard it is to make a campaign and DM and once you're familiar really do your own thing (the effect it has is that you realize you can tailor your own stories way better than premade ones)
