I wish the author discussed how to develop pantheons and associated deities too. They wrote the rules as though you are playing the one character from beginning to end, but how am i to expand on my god joining a pantheon or taking a Practice from another god if i dont know anything about any of the other gods. You could take turns developing multiple characters, but that shouldnt have to be homebrewed for such a simple system
It would be helpful if they made the domains, epithets, practices, and champions charts rollable. A list of forty random words make it difficult to even start the game. I am assuming we are expected to just pick one but I could do that without the book. The part that seems odd is the rest of the charts are a d10 or a d20 roll. We even have a few d100 rolls. The fact the charts are not even discussed in the book they seem to have been an after thought. If you don't flip through the book before starting the game you could play the game without the writer even know the lists are even there.
