  1. Hey I just found out about Vigilante City and you mentioned the 5e port a couple months ago. Im curious if you will review it. Also, I have never seen a single review anywhere for "Meister Manual Complete RPG" which is free on Kindle or $30 print and its an all in one D&D 5e rules cyclopedia plus additional rules for scifi. Im shocked no one talks about it.

  2. I think The Old World RPG is something of a Janus-Head – on the one-hand side the dice-pool system is enticing coming with it all its abstractions (skills, gear etc.) but on the other-side hand it has some vibe about being too "light" rules-wise and therefore it might have difficulties to get the well-known WFRP feeling to the table. I don´t know…

  3. I appreciate seeing this review, and may pick up the PDF to cross-compare w/ WFRP in detail.I'm not sure i'm in favor of the dicepool/targetnumber/%age multi-roll setup because explaining it to my group will be annoying as it is, without being 'now it's percentage, now it's dicepool.. etc'

  4. I’m very glad to see they kept the mechanical incentive (extra XP) for a player to randomize their character creation. I’ve been ambivalent about Old World, especially since Cubicle 7 is also making a new version of WFRP (unfortunately another “5E”), supposedly for delivery later in the year. All that said, I do like what you showed us here: faster, but still deadly and the rich Warhammer IP.

  5. Being a long time WHFRP Player/GM I was really excited about the Old World as an expansion of the TTRPG Warhammer universe. Thanks for the video on this, as it does tie in with the Old World miniatures rules.

  6. I'm really interested in the Old World RPG as it seems to be little lighter on complexity than Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay. Tried WFRP with my group before and they kinda bounced off of it.
