The Stolen Keg | System Shift: Warhammer: The Old World Roleplaying Game Actual Play

The annual Summer Brewing Festival of Talagaad is right around the corner, and Borgrin Harlaggsson is aiming for his fifth title as “Champion Frothmaster”. However, malicious forces conspire to ensure this does not happen…

Join our GM Brad as he guides Alex, Erik, Justin, and Kyle through this Dead Suns adventure!

Welcome to our first ever play through of Warhammer: The Old World Roleplaying Game! This system is brand new from Cubicle 7, so new that at the time of this recording (July 2025) the Game Master’s guide was not yet even out.

Thank you to Cubicle 7 who sent us a review copy of the Player’s Guide for us to be able to pull this actual play together.

  1. Attack Tests

Attacks are a Test, usually using the Melee or Shooting Skills. The defender usually makes

a Defence or Athletics Test to try and avoid injury. Count successes to see who won — ties

    go to the attacker.

  2. Thank you for really clear combat explains how things work in this game, i am currently thinking to buy the game or not, seems fun so faar. Gm speaks quite fast for me, but luckily there is is the texts also to help.
